In 1975, at age 22, I woke up to the spiritual path and my quest. At that time I told a group of friends that I was going to find "the secret of life" and come back and show them how to live the life we're meant to live.

That was 33 years ago. I've been on this quest ever since. I've recently languaged my Promise for the World as follows:

I promise a world of One Loving Global Family. All people live their dreams with passion and purpose, together creating a World that Works for Everyone.

I co-own a business that provides me with a passive income stream. My management team runs the company. I spend at most 10-15 hours per week directly involved in the business. For five years it's been my goal to have the financial freedom to pursue my passion and purpose full-time.

The majority of my time is being spent recreating my career as a professional Transformational Activist. The work of this career consists of envisioning and creating a World that Works for Everyone:

1. Sourcing a global conversation for the emerging new culture and new civilization with thought leaders and activists engaged in this work.
2. Crafting and communicating the message about the "Kind of Time We Live In" to galvanize people to participate in the Heroic Reconstruction of the Planet.
3. Creating the infrastructure for Cultural Creatives-the carriers of the new culture-to meet, gather, and together create a World that Works for Everyone.

I'm beginning a graduate program through Wisdom University studying with Paul Ray, author of "The Cultural Creatives." I've joined Toastmasters International to gain mastery in powerfully speaking my passion and purpose and put rigor into crafting and languaging the new conversation for the emerging culture and civilization.

I'm attracting the team of people to create the Institute for Transformational Activism, the Council for Planetary Transformation, the Cause Your Life family of businesses, and to coach the global network of Cultural Creatives in creating the new culture and new civilization on earth.

All that I think, do, and say is directed toward generating myself powerfully as Source of a World that Works for Everyone.

I'm fascinated with what I call causation. This means envisioning something in your mind's eye, and then intentionally causing it to come into physical reality.

I've studied this subject for years. In the late 1990s I got a postcard with a picture of a mountain range reflected in a lake. Across the picture is a Norman Vincent Peale quote declaring, "Hold an image of the life you want, and that image will become fact."

Back then my husband worked as a Registered Nurse, and I was a stay-at-home mom. We envisioned ourselves as successful Business Owners.

The postcard said if I held the image of the life I wanted, that image would become fact. That idea gripped me. I wanted a breakthrough in my life.

In 2001, I got that breakthrough! We did a weekend course called The Landmark Forum that blew our lives wide open. Within months, Karl quit his hospital job and we opened a business. Five years later, our company American Medical Careers had three locations, 25 employees, and over a million dollars in annual revenues.

My life was unrecognizable. I'd held an image and it had become fact. My mind started to race to what was next.

As I've written about previously, I have a Promise for the World. I envision a world of One Loving Global Family, where all people live lives of their dreams, and together create a world that works for everyone. There's a huge gap between the world as it is now, and the world I envision. To create that world, there's a ton of things to cause.

And, I sure can't do it all myself! To have my Promise for the World become reality will take armies of people trained in causation!

How would THAT happen????

In the midst of my inquiry, an amazing phenomenon struck the transformational landscape.  On March 26, 2006, the DVD called "The Secret" was released on the Internet.

The message of The Secret is about how to use the Law of Attraction to cause what you want in life. This law is based on the premise that everything and everyone in the Universe is energy, and our thoughts put out a vibration, attracting things to us like a magnet. We can learn to use our minds intentionally, to cause what we want to have happen.

Lots of people love that idea! Since The Secret was released two years ago, it's been a hit. Millions of copies of the DVD and book have sold. It's been featured on both Larry King and Oprah. It's been on numerous bestseller lists, is still #1 on the New York Times Hardcover Advice list, has been translated into 25 languages with 13 more pending.

The breakthrough result that filmmaker and author Rhonda Byrnes caused with The Secret has impacted millions of people worldwide. It also launched her and many of the experts interviewed in her movie to international stature and wealth. All in less than a year and a half. She conceived the idea to create The Secret at the end of 2004. It was released in March 2006.

Achieving this magnitude of result with a single project in such a short amount of time is at the heart of my research into causation. 

My research is motivated by my belief that we really can solve the world's problems and create a transformed planet.

These problems can seem insurmountable.

Billions of people live without clean water, basic sanitation, electricity, health care, or even enough food to sustain life. Millions of people are enslaved in child labor and the global sex slave trade. 32 ongoing "conflicts" between nations and peoples underway globally impact the quality of life of billions. Global warming threatens the very existence of life on our planet.

Think about what we could do if we applied the teachings of The Secret not only to manifest a red Ferrari or a bigger house, but to resolve these challenging situations.

I envision a global initiative called the Planetary Transformation Project that would do just that.

To launch such an initiative would require widespread belief that we really can cause "the impossible". I assert that the worldwide popularity of The Secret is evidence that masses people are open to creating miracles.

A public demonstration of overcoming the impossible occurred during the Kennedy administration almost 50 years ago. In 1961, President Kennedy boldly announced that the US would send the first man to the moon by the end of the decade. His NASA science advisors freaked out, convinced it would take twice as long. Kennedy simply stated, "do it by the end of the decade." And they did!

Kennedy pushed his science team to the limits of what they considered possible, and forced them to find a way to make it happen.This illustrates one of my favorite quotes: "Once you convince yourself to believe in the impossible, anything's possible."

I've convinced myself to believe what many people may consider impossible, that we really CAN create a World That Works for Everyone!

Great thinkers have helped me adopt this viewpoint, including Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, who insisted, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

And in the words of one of the biggest manifesters of all time, none other than Donald Trump, "As long as you're going to be thinking anyway, THINK BIG!!"
